In short: RadiX Dose does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Everything you enter stays on your own device. The app works fully offline.
RadiX Dose (“the app”) is a professional reference-dosimetry aid for external-beam radiotherapy, intended for qualified medical physicists. It is developed and published by Oğuzhan Ayrancıoğlu (“the developer”, “we”, “I”). This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information. Please read it together with the in-app User Agreement & Disclaimer.
1. Data we collect
None. The developer does not collect, receive, store, or have access to any personal data, usage data, or dosimetry data from your use of the app. The app contains no analytics, telemetry, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and does not use any third-party SDKs that would collect data.
2. Data you enter stays on your device
All information you create in the app — facilities, machines, detectors, electrometers, beams, correction factors, calibration certificates, saved measurement records, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. This information is never sent to the developer or any third party. If you delete the app, its on-device data is removed by the operating system in the normal way.
3. No account, no network
The app requires no sign-up, login, or account. It functions fully offline and does not communicate with any server operated by the developer. Environmental values such as temperature and pressure are entered or adjusted by you; the app does not access your location or device sensors for this purpose.
4. Backups you export
The Export Backup feature creates a plain data file containing your own equipment and measurement records. You choose where that file is saved (for example, on-device storage, the Files app, or a cloud drive you select) and with whom, if anyone, you share it. The developer never receives these files. If you choose to store a backup in a third-party service (such as iCloud Drive), that copy is handled under that service’s own terms and privacy policy, which are outside the developer’s control.
5. No patient-identifiable data
The app is designed for quality-assurance data only and must not be used to store patient-identifiable information. You are solely responsible for the information you choose to enter and for complying with the data-protection and privacy laws that apply to you and your institution (for example the GDPR in the EU/UK, or KVKK in Türkiye).
6. Purchase and download information
If you obtain the app through the Apple App Store, Apple may process download, purchase, and diagnostic information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. Any such information is handled by Apple, not shared with the developer as personal data, and is governed by Apple’s terms rather than this policy.
7. Children’s privacy
The app is a professional tool intended for qualified medical physicists. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. When it changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be reflected in a future update of the app.
